Chrome’s incognito mode is a great way to see the site without the saved cache.
However, there are times where you need to delete the cache for a specific site only.
For instance, if you are working on a registration page which requires you to remove the outdated cache of the page stored but not the login credential saved in the browser, incognito mode can’t help you.
At the same time, you may not wish to remove the cache saved in your browser (such as web font cache you are working on) just for the sake of this one site.
In such a case, there is a way to remove the cache for a specific site.
Here is how.
1. open your dev console (F12) (This doesn’t work if your dev console is not open)
2. Right click the reload button
3. Select “Empty Cache and Hard Reload”
You are done!!Tags: empty cache on a site only
